| INDONESIAN STUDENTS
With shipments of personal
effects: in order to minimize the excessive
Import Duty & Tax, the shipper (you)
must obtain a written statement from the
Indonesian Embassy that goods are indeed
PERSONAL EFFECTS; that is having no value
and/or not for resale. In addition the “Packing
List” must be stamped and legalized by the
Indonesian Embassy. This is a fixed rule
from Indonesian Customs. Airfreight
Door to Door services are now available.

ENGLISH STUDENTS
Unaccompanied
baggage:
Due
to the fact that there are no longer Customs
Clearance desk facilities at U.K. airports
for the clearance of Personal Effects, it
is now highly recommended that you should
only use services on a Door to Door basis
and let us do the complete service for you.
Contact us for a Door to Door cost. However
our services to arrival airport only are still
available and you need to select this link
for further details, if you still wish to
have the service to arrival airport only |

| SINGAPOREAN
STUDENTS
Please complete the attached
form
and hand it to our representative
when he collects your goods. Shipments declared
below AUD$350.00 are free of GST in Singapore.
We have been advised by our
agent in Singapore that VCD, DVD, Music
CD and all kinds of CD are 'control items'
over at SINGAPORE. So
do not ship at all as penalties will apply.
As for wines/liquors, it is
also a 'control items' over at SINGAPORE
. If you wish to take back any
of these items,
it
has to be hand carried only and each
student is allowed only one bottle (less
than 2 litres).
For further information either
contact the Singapore Consulate office or
click Customs

| MALAYSIA
STUDENTS
Malaysia students do not
have to complete a customs duty and sales
tax declaration form for their personal
effects. Common law in Malaysia already
provides the provision of used personal
effects without duty & taxes. You can
always seek advise from your consular representative
in Australia to clarify if some items pay
duties or taxes.
